Hi Rose, thanks for your question. Depending on where you are located, there are an increasingly large number of employers including LEED credentials (often LEED AP) in their job descriptions.

Job descriptions published on the East and West coasts seem to have more references to LEED than ones in the central states.

I looked on Indeed in San Francisco using "LEED" in the search category and got 166 results. A search for "LEED" and "marketing" returned 38 results.

The results were for a range of positions including Commissioning Manager, Prosite project coordinator, Assistant Project Manager, Marketing Coordinator, Assistant Estimator/Project Coordinator, Marketing Specialist, Virtual Retail Banking Project Manager and Interior Project Manager.

In Boston, MA results for the same search came up with similar positions including VP- Research Director, Associate Content Producer, Senior Interior Designer and Associate Account Manager.

The companies looking for employees with LEED experience include Forrester Research, Perkins+Will, Arup, Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL), URS, West Coast Industries, HDR, Cushman & Wakefield, PPI and Gensler.

Having an MBA was only listed as a preferred characteristic in a few of the jobs with Forrester Research in Boston and Burns & McDonnell in San Francisco... But I think having an MBA is valuable for any position in marketing.
